Conditions of Employment: This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student positions. Employment
in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University
Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee
can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause.

Note: Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees may work up to 30 hours per week during the
academic year and up to 40 hours per week during breaks; Winter, Spring & Summer. Work Schedule
Part-time (15-30 hours per week)
Monday - Friday, 9AM - 4PM Pay Range: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour Posting Type: Student/non-benefited
Job Open Date: 03-29-2011 Job Closing Date: Duties and Responsibilities Under direction of professional
staff, students will: complete internal training program; relocate, inventory, catalog and re-house
historical collections according to museum standard practices; prepare written descriptions of
museum objects and enter basic catalog records in museum collections database. Area: Sacramento
Area On/Off Campus: Off Campus City: West Sacramento Major: Any Major Minimum Qualifications Students must be
enrolled and attending classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at any
accredited college or university and enrolled at a minimum : six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter
units for undergraduate students; four (4) semester units or six (6) quarter units for graduate students.

The hiring department may have a higher unit requirement. If so, you must follow that department's requirement.
Preferred Qualifications Ability to work well both independently and with other staff, and to take direction
from supervisors. Good writing and critical thinking skills. Experience in processing historical records,
objects useful, but not required. Coursework in history, art history, or anthropology helpful, but the
positions are open to all majors. Physical Requirements Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds
