Systems and Emerging Technologies Librarian - CSU Northridge

The Oviatt Library at California State University, Northridge, invites applications for a Systems and Emerging Technologies Librarian. Candidates should hold a master's degree from an ALA-accredited library or information science program or its equivalent.

The Systems and Emerging Technologies Librarian will be part of our Technical Services Department and will join our library systems and technology team to manage and support our integrated library system and collaborate to design, promote, and improve online access to resources across systems. Full-time, tenure track librarian position with a 195 day assignment. The Library operates under a team-based management structure. All library faculty perform multiple roles including public service, user instruction, and coordination of an operational area. Primary responsibility for this position is coordination of technical processing activities, management of the integrated automated library system, and integration of electronic resources into library services. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend periods, and may include off-campus activities.
