City Librarian - City of Roseville, CA

The Human Resources Department is accepting applications for the position of City Librarian. The work schedule will vary Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A flex schedule may be available. We are seeking a proven leader who will help create a new vision for the library and enhance community partnerships. The successful City Librarian has proven skills in managing people, programs and budgets. The ideal candidate wants to be part of a dynamic leadership team, is willing to take risks and is energized by change. The organization values trust, integrity, respect and excellence.

The City Librarian will plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of the Library Division within the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department. The duties of the City Librarian include, but are not limited to: develop and implement divisional goals, policies and procedures and the library strategic and technology plans; assess current and future trends for planning purposes; plan, organize and direct library activities including administrative, public, and technical services.
