The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field. Additionally, the candidate will have several years of recent experience in installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing information technology equipment. This person will have the ability to troubleshoot, provide technical direction and assistance to resolve user-technical computer and software issues.

Minimum Qualifications

EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years of recent (within the last five years) experience providing user support in the operation, maintenance, and implementation of application programs on multiple platforms (i.e. server, desktop, network environments) is required.

EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent is required. AA/AS degree or forty–eight (48) units from an accredited college, university or technical school, with major coursework in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field, is required. Work experience above the two (2) year requirement may be substituted for education on a two years of experience equals one year education basis. Additional technical training or computer industry certifications are preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, BONDING AND/OR TESTING REQUIRED
Possession of a valid Class C California Drivers’ License and proof of insurance is required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Personal transportation for job-related travel.
