Summary

The successful candidate for this full-time, tenure track Librarian position will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including: in-person and virtual reference & instruction, physical and electronic collection development, weeding, and the management and creation of library guides. This position will require collaborating with the library systems technician on the development and maintenance of the colleges LSP, providing guidance to the colleges part time associate faculty librarians, and serving as a faculty liaison for library services.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of reference/instructional experience in an academic library setting, and the commitment and ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a collegiate environment.
• Experience working with faculty on campus-wide projects or initiatives.
• Experience providing reference and instruction in a digital or remote environment.
• Education and Experience
• Minimum requirements:
• Master’s in library science or the equivalent.
