THIS POSITION MAY BECOME PERMANENT IN THE FUTURE. Under the direction of the Supervisor of Academic Instruction, the Librarian, CF, is responsible for the selecting, cataloging, loaning, or the reference use of books and other library materials at California State Prison-Sacramento. This includes the libraries for the general population, Administrative Segregation, the Infirmary, and Minimum Facility. The Librarian has responsibility for supervising the conduct of the inmates while in the library and may be called upon to assume general custody responsibilities in time of emergency.
