Long Beach Public Library - Library Assistant and Library Aide

Library Assistants are paraprofessionals that assist patrons of all ages with library questions, research needs, readers advisory and computer use. They also provide library literacy programs, outreach, basic orientation and instruction for in-house and online library resources, so library education or experience is essential. Completed applications for Library Assistant are due by Friday, May 30, 2014 at 4:30PM and may be returned to any of our library locations.

Library Aides provide front line customer service to residents of all ages in person and by phone answering basic direction and informational questions at City Source, the City Hall Information Desk. Completed applications for Library Aide are due by Friday, May 23, 2014 at 4:30PM and may be returned to any of our library locations.
