Summary
The City of Stockton is recruiting for a Librarian I who is enthusiastic about and committed to providing library services and programs to a diverse community and working alongside a talented and dedicated staff in partnership with community-based organizations. We are currently recruiting for two (2) with assignments in a branch library and the Technical Services section. The typical work week may be Monday through Friday; however, evening and weekend hours may be required.

Incumbents in this position are included in the Civil Service System and are in a "for-cause" employment status represented by the Stockton City Employees' Association Bargaining Unit. (Classified/Represented)

This recruitment is being conducted as an Open/Promotional recruitment.
