Conditions of Employment: This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student positions. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause.

Note: Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees may work up to 30 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during breaks; Winter, Spring & Summer.
Work Schedule Flexible, depending on schools chedule, but incumbents are expected to work at least 10 hours per week during the school term.
Pay Range: $8.41 - $17.28, depending on major and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities Work largely consists of reviewing, categorizing, and sorting documents and data into site-specific and activity-specific files and up loading to a Departmental information storage and retrieval system.

Minimum Qualifications Students must be enrolled and attending classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at any accredited college or university and enrolled at a minimum : six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter units for undergraduate students; four (4) semester units or six (6) quarter units for graduate students.

The hiring department may have a higher unit requirement. If so, you must follow that department's requirement.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc). Ability to become familiar with limited-use web based information storage and retrieval system.
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions Work will be conducted almost exclusively in the Berkeley office of DTSC.
