Salary: $16.55 - $21.12 Hourly
This individual will perform tasks in the Cesar Chavez Library
Homework Center. This is a 9-month, grant-funded position that will
expand the services currently provided to students in the Cesar Chavez
Library Homework Center.
Duties include to plan, organize, and supervise the operations of the
Library's Literacy Center's Homework Center; develop new services for
youth and families in the Homework Center, including reading
assessments, reading groups, book clubs, family reading events,
workshops and other related activities; create new curriculum for
students attending the Homework Center designed to improve their
mathematical and literacy skills; provide supervision and leadership to
Homework Center staff and volunteers; administer youth volunteer service
hours and perform other related duties as assigned (please see below).
