The University of the Pacific seeks a Health Sciences Librarian with
energy, initiative, and vision to provide effective leadership and
direction in the provision of library resources and services. The
librarian’s role in the academy is changing, and that change is
particularly apparent in the sciences. The Health Sciences Librarian
takes a leadership role in the development of relationships between the
University Library and faculty in School of Pharmacy and Health
Sciences, other natural and physical sciences departments (to be
determined), as well as the Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry, located
in San Francisco. The Health Sciences Librarian develops productive
partnerships with faculty for the development of programs, services, and
collections.
