http://www.lib.ucdavis.edu/ul/about/jobs/directorofdevelopment.php

As UC Davis begins its second century, it is poised to build upon its extraordinary foundation of academic excellence and global impact and to advance among the world's top universities. The Campaign for UC Davis — a university-wide initiative to inspire 100,000 donors to contribute $1 billion in philanthropic support — has been the university's first comprehensive fundraising effort. The Campaign is creating an unprecedented opportunity to expand the university's capacity to meet the world's challenges, educate future leaders, and extend its positive impacts, both locally and globally. UC Davis is committed to the continued enhancement and expansion of it resource development program and philanthropic goals in support of its mission and vision for the future.
The UC Davis University Library is an integral component of the university and one of the top 100 research university libraries in the U.S. The Library's highly regarded research services support the faculty and students of the university, as well as the health care professionals of the UC Davis Health Systems, and the citizens of California.
The Library is preparing to embark on a new era of initiatives that will integrate digital resources and information technology at the highest level to serve the academic community of the 21st Century. To support these new initiatives and its vast collections, the Library is participating fully in the Campaign for UC Davis and is pleased to announce the availability of the Director of Development position. This exciting new position is an opportunity to create a development program that draws on the rich resources of the central campus Development Office and builds from the Library's historical philanthropic activities.
