Summer Intern - Content Analyst - 708891 
Description

 The Digital Support team within Intel Customer Support is passionate about providing a world-class, low-effort experience for customers seeking resolution for non-technical, technical and warranty issues on the web. This includes potentially directing them to information that can assist them in making the right choices for obtaining additional assistance from agents in our global contact centers or from their peers who are sharing solutions in our Support Communities. Our small but impactful team is made up of bright and enthusiastic individuals working all over the US and in the UK.

This role will help to improve accuracy, consistency, and search relevance for the top viewed support web articles on intel.com/support that assist our customers resolve their issues online.

Tasks include:
* Analysis - how content meta data is applied to Support articles

*Identify gaps/duplication/errors, recognition of patterns and inconsistencies of content classification within categories of documents across multiple product groups,

*Conclude generalizations from large information sets resulting in clear options and recommendations for course correction

*Create training slides for stakeholders to learn best known processes for applying meta-data to content
 
Qualifications

 *Quick grasp of classification concepts / content generalizations
*Experience with product content and / or technical information a plus
*Understanding of basic search concepts (e.g. SEO) - helpful in understanding which consistencies and inconsistencies are relevant to this initiative
*Degree work in Information Architecture, Library Science, or English
*Superior analytic skills -especially pattern & inconsistency recognition across large information sets
*Working knowledge of Excel and Power Point
*Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
*Ability to prioritize tasks
*Ability to produce timely deliverables
*Ability to work independently
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
