The Board of Trustees of the Stanislaus County Law Library is accepting applicants for the position of Law Library Director. The Library Director is responsible for the administration and operation of the Stanislaus County Law Library. The Law Library is also a member of the state consortium, the Council of California County Law Librarians. The Director is appointed by, and serves at the pleasure of the Board, and is compensated from the Library Trust Fund, held by the county treasury. Staffing consists of one full-time employee and three part-time extra help employees. The current operating budget is approximately $450,000. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in California and National legal research in both print and computer-based legal information.
