Do you have a passion for literacy?  Are you looking for a new opportunity, working for a great organization?  Do you have experience in Literacy and/or Education? This position may be for you!  Sacramento Public Library is recruiting for a Library Associate in our Literacy department. The Library Associate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing Adult Literacy programs for the Library.  The ideal candidate will have experience in reading instruction, program management, and developing training programs.  In addition he/she must be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with strong customer service, organizational and project management skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree required;
Prior knowledge and experience in Literacy and/or Education preferred;
Prior experience in reading instruction, program management and training development is a plus.
