Caltrans (the California Department of Transportation) is hiring a Senior Librarian.
Under the general direction of the supervising Library Manager, a
Staff Services Manager I, the Senior Librarian is responsible for the
operation and oversight of the Library's cataloging system, utilizing
the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) national automated catalog
service and the Sydney Plus local online catalog. Also responsible for
the operation and oversight of the Library's computer systems; and
training the Library's professional and technical and clerical staff in
the automation of technical services.
Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively, work
collaboratively, and provide quality customer service. Will consider
the Libarian classification.
Must be a California state employee, reinstatement or on a state
hiring or promotional list to be considered. Interested individuals
