Job Description
The Program Coordinator will create engaging technology learning opportunities for computer lab clients at CTN Partners, primarily with the SF Connected Program. The Program Coordinator will work with Community Partners to determine their needs and identify specific services to meet their needs. The Program Coordinator will also work with CTN Staff to develop new technology training services to meet digital literacy needs in the community.
The Program Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the CTN SF Connected program, including scheduling, training, delivery, and evaluation. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the CTN Volunteer Coordinator to schedule volunteers for specific programs. The Program Coordinator will report directly to the Program Manager.
The Program Coordinator will be energetic and enthusiastic about providing quality service to our partners. We are looking for a person who enjoys a fast paced work environment, and is open to learning new things. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a self-starter and a team player. The Program Coordinator should be passionate about digital literacy and public access to technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • Two years employment history in the nonprofit sector
  • One year experience delivering and coordinating technology related programs, or equivalent experience
The ideal applicant will possess the following:
  • Commitment to volunteerism and community service track record
  • Strong interest in digital inclusion, digital literacy and CTN’s mission
  • Computer and Internet proficiency, and a willingness to learn new technology tools
  • Knowledge of technology instruction practices and program design
  • Knowledge of using Salesforce CRM
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience planning and implementing events
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and be calm under pressure
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English (preferred)
Compensation and Benefits
  • Regular, Full Time (40 hours/wk)
  • $44,000 year (through June 2015 with possible continuation subject to further funding)

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Program Implementation
    -Coordinate all aspects of SF Connected program implementation
    -Prepare promotional materials and outreach plans for new programs
    -Conduct training related to new programs
  2. Partner Relationship Management
    -Be the primary contact for CTN’s SF Connected partners
    -Ensure partners have sufficient information about CTN programs
    -Respond to partner queries, concerns and grievances in a timely manner
    -Identify partner needs and determine appropriate solutions
    -Advise partners on improving their technology training programs
    -Communicate partner volunteer needs to the volunteer coordinator
    -Conduct periodic site visits to all CTN’s SF Connected partners
    -Provide partners with resources to improve their ability to deliver technology training
    -Identify and recommend innovative solutions to partner challenges
  3. Service Delivery Coordination
    -Manage the schedule for technology training programs at partner locations
    -Provide assistance to partners with outreach and promotion for technology training programs
    -Coordinate evaluation efforts related to programs
    -Manage single day special training events, scheduled class series, and ongoing tutoring services with CTN partners
    -Work with Corporate Volunteer Programs to deliver special training events as needed
    -Attend SF Connected planning meetings to assist with coordination of service delivery
  4. Data Management & Reporting
    -Maintain CTN partner records in Salesforce
    -Collect additional data about programs and services as needed by funders
    -Evaluate all aspects of programs and services to ensure effectiveness and to recommend/implement changes as appropriate
  5. Communication
    -Represent CTN at community-based events
    -Communicate regularly with partners by phone, email, and site visits during their shifts
    -Use social media to share information about CTN programs
    -Contribute content to the CTN website and e-newsletter (The Network News)
