Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC) is a two-year community college located in the downtown Los Angeles. Each semester, the college serves more than 15,000 students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Position Description
Los Angeles Trade Technical College is seeking a dedicated, motivated, student-centered librarian to join the college’s library faculty. The successful candidate will fulfill general responsibilities of a library faculty member including reference and library instruction and will lead the acquisition of library materials as well as the monitoring of budgets and other collection development activities. The candidate will also be responsible for serving as a library liaison to various LATTC departments and the College’s Pathways. The position includes working days, evenings and on weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science or the equivalent.
