 The Director of the University Library is responsible for leadership and overall management of library services and collections. We are particularly interested in finding a leader who can be an advocate of the library and manage the planning, budgeting, and staffing in support of the academic, instructional and information needs of faculty, students and staff.
Direct library operations, and oversee a professional and support staff of over 10 individuals
Consult with GGU faculty to determine library resources and service needs of academic programs and departments
Develop library programs and policies in support of the academic departments 
Consult with university administrators to determine budget and personnel requirements and to coordinate library practices and procedures with university policies
Develop and administer the library’s annual budget
Consult with appropriate university administration to determine technology needs and resources and to provide support for information management and delivery
Develop and manage the library’s physical collections and online resources
Stay abreast of library information services and technology to enhance student success and raise the level of the library’s stature 
Participate in leadership positions in appropriate professional associations
Assess quality and effectiveness of programs, resources and services 
Participate in reference, departmental liaison and instructional services
