Salary: $22.27 - $32.90 Hourly

Performs a wide variety of professional library work involving reference services, library collections development, and services for customers of all ages in both a main library and neighborhood library setting.

The successful candidate will also have a flexible schedule of availability to include weekends, evenings and/or on-call work.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Requires graduation from an American Library Association accredited college or university with a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) or Master of Library and Information Services (M.L.I.S.) degree.

Desired qualifications include: one year of professional library experience, knowledge of computer- based information resources and applications in a public library; good  customer  service  skills; good public speaking skills; self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm to work on  on-going projects  and  an understanding of the Dewey Decimal System.
