Web Services Librarian - Sonoma State University

This is an ideal position for a librarian who is intrigued and excited by the web and the role it plays as "the other front door" in an academic library setting. The Web Services Librarian takes a leadership role in the vision, design and management of an evolving library web presence to meet the needs of the students, faculty, and staff of the University. The successful candidate will have a strong public services orientation with the skills needed to build consensus, as well as a commitment to learning new skills as the need arises. This position requires an ALA-accredited MLS/MLIS/MIS degree (or equivalent, awarded by July 1, 2012) and at least 2 years professional web experience.

Rank: Senior Assistant Librarian Salary range: $57,084 - $72,132, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
