Department Overview LNG/CNG
Engineering & Operations is responsible for the design, construction,
maintenance and operation of PG&E's 33 compressed natural gas vehicle
fueling facilities and all of PG&E’s portable natural gas equipment as well
as the Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Customer Service Team which oversees all the
PG&E customer accounts for users of PG&E's Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
fueling facilities under the G-NGV2 Tariff
Position Summary
This position will be responsible
for administrative oversight of all PG&E customers served under the G-NGV2
& G-NGV1 Tariffs (approximately 4000 customer accounts). The position also
requires technical vehicle fueling training of customers at PG&E NGV
fueling facilities. PG&E currently operates 33 CNG fueling facilities
between Bakersfield and Chico Ca. PG&E's LNG/CNG Engineering &
Operations has the goal of becoming the obvious industry leader in providing
safe and compliant CNG fuel for vehicles.
Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must possess a High School diploma,
·
GED or equivalent work experience.
·
Must possess a valid California
Class C Driver’s License
·
4 years of related experience.
Internal PG&E Employees: Must
have qualified on the Clerical Test Battery (CTB) prior to applying
External, and Hiring Hall
Candidates: Must qualify on the Clerical Test Battery (CTB) prior to
interviewing
Minimum of 1 year experience MS
Excel, Word and Access database experience
Desired:
College graduate.

Responsibilities
20% SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE:
Continually and proactively identify safety risks and resolve or mitigate
immediately to provide a safe environment for PG&E customers, PG&E
employees and the general public.
40% CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT:
Facilitate opening and closing of customer G-NGV1 & G-NGV2 accounts. Help
customers with the application process and completion of forms, open &
close billing accounts, create and distribute PG&E fuel cards, respond to
customer questions via phone, email and letter.
20% FIELD TRAINING: Provide CNG
fueling training to new customers and existing customers as needed to assure
all PG&E CNG fueling customers are competent to properly use PG&E
equipment and knowledgeable about safe fueling practices and PG&E safety
expectations.
10% SPECIAL PROJECTS: Generate
monthly usage reports and distribute to LNG/CNG Operations team members.
Generate unique reports on customers or usage as requested. Manage 3rd party
contract for card reader data system. Update PG&E CNG web site as needed.
Recommend program changes to PG&E management to improve overall efficiency
and customer experience.
10% CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide
assistance to existing customers and non-customers as needed. Answering CNG/NGV
related questions via phone and email.
