Sunnyvale Public Library - Temporary Librarian

Sunnyvale Public Library is currently recruiting an experienced hourly cataloger to fill the position of Temporary Librarian. 

The immediate need is for an eight to twelve week assignment for up to 30 hours per week.

We are looking for a cataloger with these qualities:
  • Professional cataloging experience in a public library.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy & speed in copy cataloging.
  • Familiarity with the Innovative ILS, Innovative or Sierra

What are the minimum qualifications and skills?
  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program.
  • Professional public library cataloging experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Dewey Decimal System and MARC.

What happens next?
