Description

College of the Sequoias is seeking a creative and service-oriented librarian for a position as adjunct librarian. Primary responsibilities will include instruction to students in the use of the Library's print and electronic resources and regularly scheduled hours at the Reference Desk. Collection development responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must meet one of the following criteria. The degree must generally be from an institution accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges or the equivalent.

Master's in library science, library and information science or the equivalent. Candidates claiming equivalency must demonstrate a combination of education and other accomplishments that are equivalent to the MQ's. If claiming equivalency, you will need to read the attached Board Policy 5001 on equivalency and prepare a statement documenting how you feel you meet the equivalent qualifications.
